Ron Perron is a highly skilled photographer and videographer based in South Surrey, B.C., where he lives with his wife and two children. With a passion for capturing dynamic, high-energy images, Ron has established himself as a leading name in the world of athlete photography.
Before launching his own venture, Ron served as the official photographer for Arsenik Studios Inc. West Coast Division, renowned for working with professional athletes and being the chief photo studio for Inside Fitness Magazine. Today, under the brand Ron Perron Media, Ron offers clients greater flexibility and creative freedom, tailoring his services to meet unique needs.
With an impressive track record, Ron has created custom imagery for high-profile clients such as the Invictus Games 2025, YWCA, and Wired Magazine. His work has appeared in top fitness and lifestyle publications, including Sweat Equity, Inside Fitness, MuscleMag, Status, Oxygen, Muscle Insider, and Fitness Gurls. Ron’s photos have also been featured on digital platforms like Most Fitness, NPAA, and Natural Muscle.
Ron’s passion for fitness and sports runs deep, shaping the lens through which he captures life’s most powerful moments. A former track and field athlete who set school records in the 100m and shot put, Ron has also competed in freestyle BMX biking, skateboarding, martial arts, breakdancing, and ice hockey. At just 19, he became a BCRPA-certified personal trainer, and at 43 he competed in the Leigh Brandt Muscle Classic CPA fitness competition and won!
Beyond fitness, Ron’s creative roots are grounded in music. As a rap artist, producer, and singer, he gained recognition by winning multiple global competitions. His transition from music to photography was a natural one, as the artistic principles from his musical background continue to influence his photographic style and approach.
